Message would help quiet the noise. It tends to reduce metal to metal contact and lowers the coefficient of friction. I'm assuming the noise is some sort of vibration driven by surface finish?

I know it is not recommended for motorcycle gear boxes but that is because of the wet clutches AFAIK.

Daily driving a TT is like ordering your favorite pizza for breakfast lunch and
dinner. It's not healthy and eventually you will lose the magic of the meal.
